Trucks salt and scrape old 27 multiple times a day whether it needs it or not, wait 2 weeks to plow secondary roads, I live on a paved road in a sub division in indian river, never plow my road, they plow 27 over and over even when it's bare. Dump expensive salt on thick snow with no chance of melting it just making a dangerous slushy mess, never see them use cheaper sand that actually provides traction. Work on main roads all week whether it needs it or not, won't plow on weekends in a blizzard grotesquely inefficient
Maybe the worst road commission in michigan. They run out of material so they can't fill potholes but have crews on doing nothing. More secondary roads unpaved than every county in michigan and the road mix they use is sand and clay. No spec road gravel. No gravel at all. Most horrible roads and road commission in michigan. They will blame each township for them not running a tight ship.
